Cabbagetown Art & Crafts, and the annual sale it presents, was founded by Randy Brown in 1988, and he still runs it today. Located in Riverdale Park West, which is in Cabbagetown in the heart of downtown, it is the oldest and prettiest park in Toronto. The sale takes place on the second weekend of September on the same weekend as the Cabbagetown Festival. There is no admission fee and it is readily accessible by TTC.
The Cabbagetown Art & Crafts is a not-for-profit corporation which benefits many local charitable organizations in various ways. The aim of CA&C is to encourage appreciation of the visual arts, to give artists a place to sell their work, and to foster community spirit.
Exhibitors line the walkways of Riverdale Park with their tents and tens of thousands of people stroll the walkways to view the wares. Overarching trees provide shade, there are park benches for family picnics and ample food for sale. All in all, it is a wonderful community event. Come, be part of it.

Just a wee note to thank you for an excellent show! Move in/move out went smoothly - the park is gorgeous and the foot traffic was amazing! Oh, and the people were absolutely lovely...it was my best/favourite summer/fall show. Thanks again P.S. And sales were awesome!Nancea Whitham
You know, you guys are so great, and are such a pleasure to work with...You are always on time; you always do what you say you're going to do. You provide all the information I need, and you communicate it so well. Hats off to you and your team, Randy.Caroline Jonas
This will be our eleventh season with you. It has always been the best and most successful show of the season. It has become almost a family get-together. This is a delightful show in many ways: the sales are great, the organizers superb, the site is pleasing, and most of all, the people are gracious, friendly and accommodating. We feel part of their lives as we meet each other year after year, and share our lives with them. This is one show that we look forward to each year.Phil and Sandra Boyko
